Hi,
I get the following message when trying to install the extension. I have no programs running. Have you seen this before? The file in question doesn’t exist inside the directory.
The file ‘C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Fireworks CS3\Configuration\Commands\bs.js’is being used by Fireworks CS3. Please close Fireworks CS3 and try again.
Cheers, Wayne
I think that has to do with the fact that Extension Manager has to be run as Administrator in Windows for it to work properly.
What Windows version are you running?
You were right. Should have know. Windows 7 by the way. Many thanks!
What is the difference between the keyboard shortcuts?
You mean between CS3/CS4 versions, or between the different sets (Standard, Freehand, Photoshop…)?
How does the Slices as CSS Sprite work?
Check http://orangecommands.com/2010/10/04/orange-commands-1-6-now-with-100-more-sprites/ for details. I’ll try to make the documentation for the commands a bit more verbose :)
After the installation I cant seem to find the Fireworks CSX, Its not there, where is it?
Sorry, it looks like I didn’t make that step very clear…
“Fireworks CSX” means “Fireworks CS3″, “Fireworks CS4″ or “Fireworks CS5″, depending on the version you’re using.
For Windows 7 it will be the following path:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CSX\LANGUAGE\Keyboard Shortcuts
Where CSX will be your version number like for actual 5.1 in german language and user Thomas it would look like e.g.:
C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS5.1\German\Keyboard Shortcuts
Hope this helps!
Thank you very much, Thomas!
