I agree that's a weird bug :)

There's two possible causes:

.mxp file is opening with Extension Manager CS5.5 and you have Fireworks CS5
sometimes, Extension Manager "forgets" you have Fireworks installed

There's just one way (that I know of) to fix this: open Fireworks, and choose "Manage Extensions" from the Help menu. This will open the correct EM version, and you can just click the 'Install' button from there.

Not working, I am using Fireworks CS5 and its while installing it shows that ” This Extension requires the following products such as Fireworks CS3 or greater” How funny…!

It's funny. I've never had that bug happen with the 'Fill Color' command, and just this afternoon I've suffered it two times...

I'll do my best to pinpoint the error and try to fix it.

Not really, but we'll try to fix it together :)

The bug with the 'Script: ...' window is actually not fixable by me (though I hear Adobe is doing something about it) but we can maybe find a workaround that won't trigger it. Please let me know your Fireworks & OSX versions, computer configuration, and any other extension you may have installed that could be conflicting with Orange Commands.

After installing, when I run the ‘Fill Color’ command by clicking through the menu, it works. However, once I assign a keyboard shortcut to that command, the program freezes (get a never-ending Mac beachball spinner) and a little window saying “Script: Fill Color.jsf”. Any idea what could be causing the script to hang?

For Windows 7 it will be the following path:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CSX\LANGUAGE\Keyboard Shortcuts

Where CSX will be your version number like for actual 5.1 in german language and user Thomas it would look like e.g.:

C:\Users\Thomas\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS5.1\German\Keyboard Shortcuts

“Fireworks CSX” means “Fireworks CS3″, “Fireworks CS4″ or “Fireworks CS5″, depending on the version you’re using.

After the installation I cant seem to find the Fireworks CSX, Its not there, where is it?
